Program Details

Course Fee: $495 for this 6-week special

Duration: June 24 – August 14 (Break from July 21–25)

Lesson Options:

  • Mounted Lessons: Choose either Tuesdays or Thursdays from 10 AM–12 PM.

  • Unmounted Lessons: Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. Duration will be 1-2 hours and cover a variety of topics.

FAQ

What Ages Are Allowed To Attend The Program?

Students should be ages 7-15.

Are Riding Helmets Provided?

All campers should bring their own helmet. However we do have ones here to borrow.

Do you have to be an experienced rider to participate in the program?

Experience is not required.

How long is the event expected to last?

Mounted Lessons: Choose either Tuesdays or Thursdays from 10 AM–12 PM.
Unmounted Lessons: Times are currently being finalized (aligned with our regular programs).

Will participants be provided with horses for the event? Do they need to bring any riding gear or equipment?

Horses and tack are included.

Will there be any food or snacks provided, or should participants bring their own?

Kids bring their own lunch-we have a fridge and microwave in our view room. We also have a drinks for a $1 in our fridge, and hotdogs as well. Benefits go to our Pony Club

What happens in case of inclement weather? Is there a rain date or a cancellation policy?

We have an indoor so ride no matter what the weather and there are no cancelations.

Is there parking available at the farm?

Yes, there is parking available.

Is there a recommended dress code for the event, especially for horse riding?

Riders should wear long pants, a close-fitting shirt, and boots.If boots are not available, riders must wear close-toed, hard soled shoes with heels of at least 1/4 inch. Best practice is to dress in layers!
